I take 60mg Lasik 2 x daily and then spironolactone 25mg 1 x daily and metolazone 2.5 mg 1 every 3-4 days. And I do watch my sodium intake. That maintains me well, but it's a lot of pills.

Do you have problems with weight gain?
Since I've been on it, I have gained about 20 pounds. Part of it I'm sure is actual weight from not exercising and not eating right.- too many calories in, and too few cal. going out. Water weight. I'm on lasix 20 mg once a day, bit find it hard to know when I can take it because I drive bus for 9.5 hrs a day. Don't know if I'll be able to have potty break when the urge hits, so don't take it as often as supposed to.

Happy Thanksgiving to All! Please no hurry in answering this! I have been having difficulty catching my breath for 2 weeks now! I had a horrible urinary tract infection with sepsis caused by a lodged kidney stone with 3 weeks of infused antibiotics administered through a midline at an out patient clinic! Everyone is different. Repeats. 5 I think. Very sensitive and took 4 mo. to adapt.Clean, Med diet, no alcohol.
Just hope it helps you and any side effects don't bug you too much
