I had a horrible urinary tract infection with sepsis caused by a lodged kidney stone with 3 weeks of infused antibiotics administered through a midline at an out patient clinic! I have been to the ER, seen my cardiologist 3 times, my primary 3 times and have had every test including an echo! My EF has gone up to 40 from 25! I am seeing an GI doctor next week, to see… read more

I just received a call from his office and I do not have any signs of sarcoidosis and have a follow up appointment in… read more

Listen to your body and if you feel bad by all means go to the ER. 20% is not a good number! You may want your doctor to do an echocardiogram to recheck this. I… read more
Hi @A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member. I had a CPAP for almost 20 years. The new ones are very quiet so your wife shouldn't find it to be a problem. Hopefully your insurance will pay but if not, it is still… read more
Because I am still awake when this happens, I can not attribute the breathlessness to sleep apnea (OSA), but wondering if it is due to GERD/LPR. I feel like I am being chocked and it is frightening. Can this be heart related? It goes away if I sit up, but my heart is already pounding.
Your cardiologist has the best advice, but, If you have never utilized Cardiac Rehab, I would suggest that practice to enhance your heart's ability to handle small amounts of exercise followed by very… read more
