I have FMD and had a bypass late November 2022. Recovery has gone well. I am having an MRA soon as a follow up.

How long does this last?
PCP put me on ambien and now xanax, but those are not working… I wake up after 4 hours .

Since my CABG surgery and my peripheral artery disease diagnosis , I have overhauled my diet, but still struggle with wanting sweets . I eat fruit, but sometimes I just eat a piece of dark chocolate .
How do others deal with their sweet cravings ?

Bone pain? Back and rib pain? Emotional stress? Heart pain? How are you doing now? It would be helpful to hear any details you would like to share. Thank you!!

Just after been prescribed entresso and was wondering if anyone else is on this tablet and has it helped there health and how??

I had a heart bypass on 11/23/22. Physically I am doing well and making good progress. However, after 2.5 weeks I started crying for no reason and get sad. I am able to pull myself out of it but it continued to happen. The nurses just say it is normal and the goal is to have more good than sad moments. My research shows this is normal but I would like to know more - how long will this last? What steps can I do to stop it before it starts? When should I be concerned? Am I doing it too much?

Does anyone else have obstructive hypertrophic cardiomapathy? I would would like to discuss experiences as there are not too many of us on this board.

This past tuesday saw new specialist, took me off Valsartin, moved me to losartin 100mg and added amLODIPIne 10mg. Since my BP is still up there, Dr sent me a note today raising my Metoprolol to 50mg from 25. Nervous what I can expect. Thoughts?
