Need Advice About Doctors And Surgery
A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member asked a question 💭

He scheduled another echo for November. I figured at that time I'd start taking the tests to see if I qualified for TAVR. This week I visited my internist. He said I should go to the University of Michigan for any surgery and advised me to schedule an appointment right away. My cardiologist… read more

I had and x-rays on my hips and spine last week, I took a fall and doctor wanted to be sure I didn't mess up anything with hips that were replaced 2 years ago, and I have arthritis and a herniated disk in my back, but anyway he found I have aortic calcification, I see my cardiologist Friday, is there anything specific I should be asking about this new thing for me.

HCM And Sweatiing
A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member asked a question 💭

Over the last 2 years I was diagnosed and had surgery for HCM as my septum had enlarged and hardened to the point that blood could not get out of my left chamber. As I have been recovering I noticed that I no longer perspire as easily as I used to before my surgery. For years I experienced this. Has anyone else dealing with HCM experienced this? Could this be an early symptom of HCM? thank you.
