Had root canal done. Not bad at all. Hard part...the worrying. You'll be fine. Important to take care of teeth when you have heart issues.
I will be undergoing bypass surgery. So what are diet restrictions after surgery? I am already following plant based diet.

Are any special clothing needed?
Did you know? The heart-healthy Mediterranean Diet ranks #1 out of diets and this is its 7th year! I prefer to be a vegetarian/vegan but once a week I will eat fish such as salmon and include fresh herbs like thyme, spices like pepper, and fresh salmon. As I write it bakes. As the author of the popular Healing Powers series -- based on this diet -- I recommend the diet. I have stayed lean, never hungry, and you get a nice balance of superfoods.
Cardio doc will indeed give thumbs up. Seventh yr. of being voted as the best diet. Definitely heart healthy. My demise? Genes. But I'm doing fish, no sugar, no transfats. Keep in mind, it's more… read more
I have AFib and diastolic heart failure. Sometimes it feels like I'm breathing through a blob of mucus in my throat. I have a really hard time coughing it up and spitting it out so I just keep on coughing and coughing. Can anyone help me figure out a good way to cough that crap out of my throat/lungs because I always start to breathe easier and feel better when I can. Thank you in advance everyone!!

I had AtriClip placed with mitral valve repair 3 years ago. I have went into Afib 3 times in those 3 years.
Somehow it was overlooked that I had AtriClip and was put on Eliquis. I don't want to be on Eliquis any longer. Cardiologist( not the same one with mitral valve repair) says I need a TEE procedure before he takes me off med to ensure AtriClip is in place.
I need advice.

I had the initial surgery to replace valve in Aug 2021 but then in March 2022 I had a second surgery to add titanium plates to my chest wall as it was not stable with the wires used at the first surgery.
