My blood pressure has recently been dropping lower and lower…It was suggested to me by a friend to look into it but I’m coming up empty!

Hi Janine, contact your Cardiologist immediately and ask questions and remind them of the medications you are currently taking. Before this happened to me my doctor told me he had to change my meds when I was diagnosed. I was already taking a med. for blood pressure and when he added Carvedilol he told me it would drop my blood pressure. So he told me to stop taking I think it was called Lisnopril. I could not take those 2 together. Even the pharmacy told me not to take both meds. Take care, lady.🙏🏼

Janine, to answer your question, POTS Stands for Positional Orthostatic Tachycardia. POTS is a rapid increase in heart rate within 10 minutes of standing, without a significant drop in blood pressure. Like everyone else said, get another doctor's appointment asap, and in the meantime, ask what you can do to help.

Good luck Janine with your Doctor-you could also call your pharmacist if you think it's meds. Some info sometimes helps with those Doctor conversations you'll have when you call the office soon.

Yes, check with your doctor. My pressure was dropping and causing dizziness, no energy, tired all the time.. My doctor took me off of amlodypine. All better now!
