@A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member I had a similar thing happen. My SA node was starting not to function well, so my heart was slowing down they had to take me totally off the beta blockers like they did for you. Once I got my pacemaker, I was able to take them once again to control the arrhythmias. I am so glad that you are feeling so much better now without them. Hugs🤗

I was on a beta blocker for over a year after my heart attack. At a normal Dr appt after telling doc that I felt odd she did a scan immediately and my heart was beating too slowly. She told me to take half a pill. Turns out my heartbeat was still in the 40-50s and then a month ago ended up in the ER because I thought I'd pass out. The ER nurse suggested I not take the half pill anymore and get checked by my primary Dr at the usual appt after the ER visit. Dr agreed that I should not take it anymore. My heartbeat now runs around 60-70 and no more lightheadedness.
Very good video on beta blockers. I guess that is why I feel like it has a calming effect.

I know not all of us here are fans of beta blockers, but they are wonderful to slow my heart arrhythmia, and I appreciate having them. I also appreciate you commenting on the videos. It helps me know what is useful for everyone. ❤️
