Anyone has mild Tricuspid or mitral valve regurgitation but no symptoms? Cardiologist says no need for treatment if mild, but I know it can progress. Cardiologist says a lot of people has this. I saw on an echo report, so use to different things listed on report.

Thanks to all who have responded. I have had mild Mitral regurgitation for over five years since my SCAD and it's now part of my journey I am now (adding the mild Tricuspid regurgitation). My heart really took a beating with the artery dissection, and is still beating for me, so I must move on with God in the lead and enjoy each day I am Bless with.🙂↕️
@A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member I was born with a tricuspid valve with minor regurgitation. I am now 72 with Moderate regurgitation, which has never been a problem, and there is no need to treat it even now. I would not worry about it at all. The cardiologist will watch it and let you know if it becomes problematic. ❤️
Lanet do you Mean what meds am I on? If so I take metapholol 12mg daily, low dose Entresto 24/25 twice daily, a blood thinner, and low dose Crestor every other night (because I was paining taking every night). My Cardiologist wants me to try a low dose of Jaundice, which I haven't yet. I went from no meds except an acid reflux med to 4 after an artery dissection in 2019 that cause me to have emergency surgery and lower EF, but now I'm on a different journey. Take Care.
