Hi Caryn, I just added another day to my exercises. I do a mixture of Cardio, weights and resistance training 4 times a week about 1.5 hours now. Sometimes, I also walk in the mall. Today, I can start the Silver Sneakers Program. So I cancelled my paid membership and attend through my insurance, Silver Sneakers now. Thanks for the info. ๐Ÿ™‚

Changes in appetite can be related to heart disease and its treatments. While loss of appetite is more commonly discussed, some people may experience increased appetite. This could be related to medications, changes in activity levels, or your body's response to managing the condition.

Changes in appetite can be related to heart disease and its treatments. While loss of appetite is more commonly discussed, some people may experience increased appetite. This could be related to medications, changes in activity levels, or your body's response to managing the condition.

If you've noticed a significant change in your appetite along with other symptoms like unusual weight gain (especially 2-3 pounds within 24 hours or 5 pounds in a week), swelling in your legs or abdomen, or increased fatigue, it's important to discuss these changes with your healthcare provider. One MyHeartDiseaseTeam member shares that making better dietary choices became important after their diagnosis. While managing increased appetite, focus on eating clean, healthy foods rather than fried or processed options. This can help maintain heart health while satisfying hunger.
