It’s wonderful to hear you’re having more good days than bad—gratitude is a powerful healer! 💕 Regarding bypass surgery, it’s common for results to vary over time. While many feel better for 10-15 years post-surgery, the grafts or arteries can sometimes narrow again. Maintaining a heart-healthy lifestyle, like managing cholesterol, blood pressure, and staying active, is key. If your friend is struggling, it’s worth consulting her cardiologist to explore options. Blessings to you both!

Hi Barb,I was in pain for 13years , getting cortisone shots for 10 years at 3 or 4 month intervals, hearing about 50/50 from people that
I should/ shouldn't get a replacement,,FINALLY 8 months ago I did it. I'll be honest the first week or so are pretty tough, for me it wasn't knee pain that bothered me, it's was my thigh muscles from the tourniquet used during surgery. It made it rock hard and if you pushed it with your finger it would stay dented for a minute or so. Muscle was so tight I couldn't raise my leg for a few days. And it's extremely difficult to bend your knee. Use ice packs and you or someone massage those muscles alot.
Just make sure you go to therapy, I went twice a week for I think 12 weeks now I can bend my knee 120deg. And have no pain. You probably will have strange sensations around your knee, and the whole outside of my knee area is numb But I'm so thankful I got it done and wish I had 10 years ago. Any other questions ask away 😀

So glad you’re all doing so well. Everyone doesn’t heal the same way. I’m having knee surgery in 2 months and I pray that I do well, but I realize that I may not do as well as many of my friends have done, but the pain I’m in makes me willing to take the chance. You’re blessed for sure to be doing so well.
