Plastic is another oil byproduct. It's formed by melting beads into a mold. They have known for decades of the health risk. But it's cheap to manufacture. Almost impossible to dispose of. Pollution of our oceans have killed much of the oceans inhabitants. Careless disregard for environment. All about the bottom line.

I have been trying to stay away from plastic in general but on occasion I just need to bring that convenient bottle of water along with me or purchase that container of organic Apple Juice. I do my cooking in stainless steel pots and microwave in glass containers. Same for leftovers. Ankor Hocking or similar glassware. I think this limits our exposure to a safe enough level. I do use aluminum foil especially the glide and slide kind for some cooking (roasting). Don’t know what has come out or will come out regarding safety on that? I enjoy the convenience in my senior years but if a health hazard I guess it’s back to scrubbing ugh.
