Take meds as prescribed, exercise, and limit bad fats and sodium. I do these things. Take diuretics when prescribed. My swelling has reduced dramatically!

I would recommend going to your DR and getting referral for nutritionist to help you. I am surprised this is NOT done more often. I was given the General Not too much salt, Sugar, greasy foods processed foods recommendation. They really should refer PTs for this especially if this has occurred. I survived sudden cardiac arrest. I am going to ask for one next week at my appt. I think its very important.
