I’m not real impressed with plant base foods at this time. I don’t know a great deal about them, & I find most are high in fat……I enjoy my chicken either boke or cook my chicken in the slow cooker & never eat the skin. I do eat lean beef……,but just cant bring myself to eat plant based foods yet 😊

My sister hasn’t had an egg, piece of red meat , or cheese in over 20 years . She just had her 10th stent put in ,in March . She is not over weight and is still active .

I agree, I am not a fan of these products and the salt content can be pretty high along with too many chemicals. While I do have to buy store-bought meat, I by the best that is available. I live in the Atlanta area and buying from a farmer is not an option. However, we do have a local farmers market and there is a farmer there that sells free-range organic products. I buy them when he is at the market!

I’ve been eating a Vegan diet for the past two months but I find the fake meat to be disgusting so I get protein from beans and legumes!

Are you avoiding store bought mass produced meat?

I try moderation and to avoid anything processed or artificial. We buy our beef and pork on the hoof and have it butchered to our specs. We raise our own chicken and turkey or buy local from friends and seafood from known vendors when possible.
