I had an ablation done in 2022 and have had a handful of short episodes under less than 24 hrs according to my past 3-4 pacer checks. Being well managed with Eliquis and metroprolol

My Cardio Electrophysiology Dr. put in an ICD that serves as a defibrillator and pacemaker and has kept mine under control for 2 years!

Sobalol is a good drug that has a beta blocker along with it so it should do a pretty good job of preventing the Afib most of the time. Nothing is 100 %. Your diet and a little exercise will go a long way to helping.

The only thing I take is a drug like Betapace called Sotalol. it does its job, but it is slow acting! I am also on Eliquis to help stop blood clots! I am overweight and diabetic!
