My Primary doctor told me to take an 81 mg asprin at night but then the cardiologist told me to take it in the morning and I have been taking it in the morning for over a year now.

I take aspirin you are taking before I go to bed, and one in the morning before I head off to work. It has helped.

After the heart stents I was on a 325mg aspirin for a few years. After my open heart surgery they waited a bit and then lowered to 81 mg. I have been on it ever since and no problem with the dose.
