I seem to be having BP spikes and wonder if this medication could be causing it. I had to switch fro Lisinopril because of the coughing side effects and now I’m concerned about the spikes in BP from Losarten. This getting old is not for me that’s for sure!!

Noticed my BP being wonky and have been on Losarten since the end of April- don't know if it's from the med but doesn't seem to be associated with exertion or activity. This has only been since the change in seasons though. Thanks for the heads up.

Sure you’ll get adjusted to it. Be observant with your body and listen to your body. Best of luck.

Hi kemmy, breast cancer is now highly treatable, had it in 1984, treated with chemo, been cancer free since, thank God.
Taking atenolol 25mg once a day for BP, works for me.
Hope things go well with you.

Here are the symptons of taking Losarten for blood pressure

Cold or flu symptoms such as stuffy nose, sneezing, sore throat, fever
Dry cough
Muscle cramps
Pain in your legs or back
Stomach pain, diarrhea
Headache, dizziness
Tired feeling
Sleep problems (insomnia)
Other side effects include asthenia, chest pain, fatigue, hypoglycemia, hyperkalemia, hypotension, and orthostatic hypotension2

I take 5ml of Apple Cider Vinegar in a cup, with warm water and this reduces BP in 10 minutes
These tablets they give you are busy killing you

I take 50ML of Losartan once a day and don't seem to have any problems with it. I also take a beta blocker 5mg once a day and that may make a difference. I hope you find a drug that works for you. Hugs🤗
