My beta blocker Metroprolo is starting to keep my heart rate down to low its stating at 38 high only as 50, after 8 years after my 6 bypass 8 years ago

I had the same problem.l needed less metropolol and a pacemaker.

Mary, I would call the doctor and let them know. It all depends on your condition. They may be able to reduce the amount of the medication or give you a lower dose.
