Hi Harvey! I was diagnosed in 2011 a few months after giving birth. My EF was 20-25. Thanks to the intervention of an exceptional cardiac team, I am doing well. My EF is 55-60. I do yoga daily and aerobic exercise 4 times a week. I still have chronic systolic HF and moderate MVP, so because of that, they’re keeping a close eye on my heart through bi-annual echocardiograms. Other than that, I’m asymptomatic. So yeah, 12 years and still above ground!

I had my atrial vale and two bypasses in 2010 and have been fine if I watch my diet and get lots of exercise (I walk 35-50 miles per week). No issues
