I was told by my cardiologist don't pierce ears and no tattoos. Could affect the new valve if you get one (or have one).

I got my small tattoo on the inner right wrist some time ago…maybe 8 years ago before I had heart problems! It says in script “C’est La Vie” which translates from the French as this I’d life! It has sometimes been a great comfort to me…Check with your Dr.!!!

I got a small tattoo! It was on my bucket list🙃I didn't have to come off blood thinners because mine was small altho it ""HURT""...
And I take 4mg of Coumadin every day then 2mg in the evening 3 days a week..It didn't bleed much at all.
But I did ask my Cardiologist and the Pharmacist who helps me manage the medication..
