Has anyone done this yet if so what did you choose Mechanical or tissue Or did you have the Ross procedure

I was supposed to have mitral valve surgery last July and doctors will not do it because of some bad teeth. My Doctor never even really mentioned it until I was waiting in the pre op room waiting for my surgery. I waited over 5 hours not knowing why my surgery was not happening. Then finally the cardiac surgeon came in and told me he had to do an emergency surgery in another patient and said you need to have some of your teeth removed. I had all my testing done. Unnecessary over-servicing for financial gain

I am considering finding another cardiologist. Without asking me, he popped a gadget on my chest to test for cardiac arrhythmia. After keeping me waiting for 10 days, the result was as expected, "normal". He charged me R2500 for the instrument that the medical aid does not fund. I think he's over-servicing for financial gain.

Can anyone tell me about ICD's, if you have problems
My son has shortness of breath, went I and had a Eco. They found a electrical problem in his heart. He was put on meds and asked to come back in 3 months. He did and had another Eco on his heart. His EF was 40 the first time, this time it was below 30. They are doing another Eco in 3 months. Put him on different meds for congestive heart failure. I have medicaid/state ins and sometimes I feel I'm being pushed thru the system and only being taken seriously when I have a problem that is deeply present.

Heart Cath, stress tests, etc. Three different providers in same office put me on three different prescriptions, had cardio-version, electric paddles and I monitor with a Kardia-Mobile daily. No A-Fib since. Also monitor BP, heart rate and Oxygen level daily and all good. The side affects of the drugs present symptoms I NEVER exhibited before the drugs.
