Nuclear Test.
A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hello everyone, I haven’t been on here in awhile. I’m about to go for a nuclear stress test, wondering if anyone can calm my nerves down and let me know that it’s not a big deal? Or is it? I pretty know what they are doing (kinda’) just trying to get some advice and or suggestions, I’m not liking that it may be close to 4 hours. Really would like to know how someone feels with these injections, it’s giving me anxiety to be truthful.

Dear friend, being quite sick myself I have learned that worry is of no help to me, you only put more stress on yourself and in the end the procedure will take its course, have faith, keep yourself occupied with something you
like doing, and NEVER give up, I will pray for you, find solace in the fact that their are people on this earth that are far
more less fortunate than us. Good Luck! Please give us feed back on how it went,
Kind Regards

The last one I had, they gave me the injection of the tracer, closely monitored me during the treadmill portion, then off for the scan.there is no “”sensation” from the injection. The worst part was not having coffee or even herbal tea for a certain period of time before the exam.( I can’t remember the specifics on instructions beforehand. Be sure to ask if there are any specific instructions if they don’t tell you.
