Wanting all of you to feel your best and eat the way we should, low fat and low salt. I'm watching a movie, Cliffhanger. Sly Stallone is excellent. Have a great night.

Members bonded over a lighthearted post about healthy eating and watching Cliffhanger, with the conversation quickly turning to a shared love of dark chocolate and how to manage sweet cravings, especially at night. Several members noted that dark chocolate in small amounts felt manageable, with one member sharing that eating it actually seemed to reduce nighttime AFib episodes. A recurring theme was balancing enjoyment of food with health conditions like diabetes, heart disease, and Barrett's esophagus, all wrapped in warm humor and mutual encouragement.

Dark Chocolate is the best thing ever made. I personally like the dark choco Milky Way Bars and the mounds bars. But being a diabetic I can't have it. Sometimes I crave chocolate and salt at the same time. I don't let myself never have any but when it gets like that I will have some chips and mounds bars mini ones that is. Also Sly Stallone and Cliffhanger was my favorite one of his movies. Would do it all over again but the first time it was played will never happen againđŸ˜„ Thanks for the memories Barb. He would have been hanging on a cliff but the branch was 2nd best atleast that is what he told me anyway now whose nuts huh LOL

I don’t know but I do know if I don’t eat dark chocolate during the the my “during the night” episodes of Afib are not as bad. You have no idea how hard it is to leave that dark chocolate alone!

Did they find lesions on the walls of your esphogus? They found two on mine and thought that was what I had but thankfully not. How are you doing with it? RichardsonCBarbara
