Forgetfulness
Anyone experience vasculare dementia related to heart disease?
I’m 85 and I enjoy word games on my tablet. Some are addicting! Cross word puzzles are also a favorite for keeping the brain oiled!
Aren't some of you taking metropolol? It causes memory loss, insomnia, exhaustion, nightmares and even hallucinations in some people.

Some of the meds I take state memory loss as a side effect.
Sometimes find myself having a hard time remembering names and words (and where my car keys are).
Lipitor seems to cause me the worst memory loss.
Vacation? So nice of them im finding everyday harder to get words out in my head i know but cant yhink of it same time frustratinv yes
Metoprolol and Lipitor are linked to short term memory loss. And it’s common to have them prescribed after a heart attack. Once you’re off some of these meds your memory will likely improve after a while, assuming it is medication related. A doctor could adjust the doses and that might help.
I guess the real question is which is most important meds that help you recover or keep you healthy or short term memory loss. Honestly sometimes it’s hard to decide.
Family not trusting you or get frustrated with you because of your memory loss? Do they make rude and hurtful comments figuring you won’t recall anyway?
Just recall that “what they are you were and what you are they will be.”
