yes, in 2018, i had my aortic valve replaced. my blood thinner is 2 baby aspirin. i see my cardiologist every 6months. she says i am doing great.

Had TAVR procedure done on January 23 for an aortic valve replacement. Procedure lasted about an hour and there was constant monitoring around the clock for 24 hours at which time I was discharged. Periodic EKGs and echoes were done throughout that time. There was very little bruising and incision sites were virtually gone within a week. There was a follow up with the surgeon at one week and then will be going back in three weeks for another echo and bloodwork and seeing the doctor the week after.

Alot of things enter to make decisions.....age weight muscle shape....and good doctors

I went through a procedure to fix my mitro valve and the doctor fixed it with a clip. So far so good.
