Hi , I can tell you from some one I know, he has a different DX than I do, but he is retaining water and fat weight, and is in heart failure because the water around his heart makes it hard to pump properly, Lasix will make you lose water weight, and quick, once they get the weight off, his heart will be more efficient, I don't know your circumstance , but it can cause weight loss even if not trying to lose weight, because water weight will be lost, this is all I know, and a good weight for your height is good overall for your heart. you have a blessed day
