Has Anyone With A Pacemaker/defibrillator Ever Experienced A Hiccup Not Necessarily A Shock?
A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member asked a question 💭

This is something that I am kind of experiencing. While getting my checkup I had a pacemaker hiccup and he understood what I was talking about.. He did say that others had made comments about this. I just curious.
Please explain what is a noisy lead?

Hi there. YES I know what you mean. Sometimes the placement of the ICD wires can stimulate nerves. You can hiccup or twitching of the chest muscles. The Doctor should check this out. Noisy Leads also could be a Lead problem. Good luck.
