Side Efects Of Beta Blockers

A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member asked a question 💭
Indianapolis, IN

I'm taking minimum possible dose of valsartan and carvedilol for blood pressure. Meds are working, but side effects are debilitating and are greatly affecting my quality of life. I also have COPD and am on oxygen with activity. I want to get off the beta blockers but doctor is skeptical. I've researched other meds but have found little enthusiasm for any of them.

check on the valsartan, I was taken off this and given a replacement for it. valsartan that comes out of China was recalled due to a ingredient that can
cause cancer. I don't think you should be taking it. my pharmacy advised me,
if I remember correctly.
