i also have heartburn all the time now and it kinda feels sometimes like when i had my heart attack and i get so scared!! does all the new pills i take cause this?? this is all new to me,and i dont take pills i just take vitamins my whole life!!
I don't think heart transplants have been very successful . More than half of the recipients pass over within the first year . The most successful ones have lasted for around 5 years . I believe there is one documented case where the recipient actually lived for another twenty years .
Be careful with cardiac rehab , it is easy to overdue it .
Do cardiac rehab, I am doing it again. I have 8 stents now, and it will get better. Stay positive. That's what I'm doing.
Don't let the fear of dying turn into a fear of living. The meds do work and you will adjust to your nrw normal. Pain after stents is common, stomache upset is fairly normal as well and can be caused by meds. Try and relax, ask your doctors anything, but live well, not afraid.
Have a friend that is well into his second decade.
