Defibrillator Question

Defibrillator Question

Hello All,

I had triple bypass March 11th. My ef went down to 15 and has not gone up. They tell me I have a severely damaged heart and am lucky to be here.

My cardio and my heart failure Doctors both recommend a defibrillator.

Am worried since my EF is so low I will have complications or not even survive them putting it in.

Anyone have a defibrillator and also anyone have one put in with a low EF???

Thanks❤️🙏🏻

I had a defibrillator/pacemaker implanted 9 years ago. It has saved my life repeatedly. God bless you.

My EF went to 20% and after the ICD it is now 36%.
I was not put completely under during the surgery because they did not want any complications and could hear the doctors and feel it slightly but am very happy it's there
