Defibrillator Question

Hello All,

I had triple bypass March 11th. My ef went down to 15 and has not gone up. They tell me I have a severely damaged heart and am lucky to be here.

My cardio and my heart failure Doctors both recommend a defibrillator.

Am worried since my EF is so low I will have complications or not even survive them putting it in.

Anyone have a defibrillator and also anyone have one put in with a low EF???

I have and icd and it is scary at times but will save your life if u are not close to a phone and are having chest pain will slow your heart down to save u from a possible heart at3

My EF was 12% a year ago. It is now 38%and rising.

I had a defibrillator/pacemaker implanted 9 years ago. It has saved my life repeatedly. God bless you.

I don’t believe it’s major surgery. If it could save your life…..there would be no boubt in my mind about it……I would get it in a flash.

I went to the doctor yesterday and my heart's gotten better I guess because I was at 35 and now I'm at 40 and thank God I don't have to wear that life vest 😀anymore so I just wanted to pass on the good news
