Does Anyone Suffer Numbness In Their Breasts And Have Pain In The Upper Part Of The Chest, I Had A Triple Bypass And Fell 2x Going Upstairs.

While hurrying up the stairs, I tripped and fell forward two times;I stopped the falls with both arms outstretched and my hands took the brunt of the fall. No damage was done to the breast bone, it was healing nicely but I went to physio and the exercises she was doing were for COPD and not heart. But lately, even bending over to put my shoes and socks on, it hurts. I am going to the doctor tomorrow and hopefully will find out what is happening.

It will, we are stronger then we think. But pain is pain, and it takes time to heal.

When I fell so hard, I did some very real damage to the muscle and tendons in the upper left part of my chest which is what causing pain. We are slowly working on it and it seems to be getting better, but still a long road ahead. I am back to wearing the binder when doing housework and at night, which seems to be helping alot. Not putting any stress on the chest muscles when I am sleeping. COPD is a pain but I am monitoring my oxygen and doing simple exercise such as walking which I find the most relaxing especially outside. Not too brisk, slow and leisurely like a 2 year, stop and smell the flowers. I know I need patience and good luck CindyC, treating both the COPD and hopefully the pain will go away.

Hi Van, I to had a triple bypass almost 2 years ago, and still get the occasional twinge. When I do anything strenuous I do experience some pain around the scar line later the same day.
Over time I've learned what pain to expect and when.
Hope all is ok with you, I'm a great believer in exercise, and found the rehabilitation program I was on to be excellent.

I had a triple heart bypass a year and a half ago. I came home 12 days later they said I needed to go to a nursing home I wad going home All the places they wanted to send me to l had worked as a charge nurse so I knew what kind of care I would get there
My sister helped me since we live together and I had a visiting nurse and bath aide 3 times a week. There are some Nursing agencies that only take what Medicare pays and you never see or get a bill talk to the hospital social worker and see if she knows any.i have used this one several times Stay strong and remember your not alone we are all in this together.
