Do Any Of You Still Have Shortness Of Breath Despite Meds?

I have been on diuretics, heart betas, blood pressure meds, but I still have shortness of breath when I walk more than 50 feet.

Some of the meds that I take list shortness of breathe as a side effect. I would rather have that than angina. Just a part of heart disease. Sometimes you just have to slow down. I get on the treadmill to increase stamina.

Maybe? Maybe you have a salt overload. I was recently hospitalized for salt overload. Maybe your diet is just too high in sodium?

I was put on Brilinta after having a heart attack- the dr said shortness of breath was a side effect - he put me on Xanax as the shortness of breath was giving me terrible anxiety- I still get it, but Iā€™m able to handle it
