I have had spells of dizziness and nausea during the day. My doctor advised me to take meds at night instead of daytime. I tried this but I wake with a terrible headache. Anyone have the same or have advice?
Hi Grace, I am the same, I know I should drink more water, I had to be rehydrated for hours before 2nd stent procedure, yet still I forget and I have CKD, so what I do now is drink a full glass water when I get up and the same before going to bed think it helps incorporating it in with routine.
For me. I've learned to keep in mind that I must drink an adequate amount of water. Sometimes I get too busy & forget -- like yesterday. Didn't drink nearly enough water, so had a headache when I got up this morning. I also get leg cramps at night if I didn't drink enough water.
I discussed it my Dr 1st: -- so I experimented with switching some but all of my meds to evening. Then I tried another combination the following week etc etc until I got it to a satisfactory feeling.
Another thing to keep in mind: -- make sure you're well hydrated.
I learned through listening to many of my friends, plus my own experience that dehydration causes us old folks a lot of problems
It depend's on the med's some I take in the morning and some at night. never feel dizzy in the am, ask your dr. if some of them should be taken in the morning instead of at night., Hope you feel better
When i first started taking meds i was having i think it was my bisoprilol and ramipril in the morning as well as my aspirin i also take lanzoprazole in morning for acid reflux. I kept feeling dizzy. Was told mostly by friend and pharmacist that i should take the ramipril at a diffetent time to the bisoprilol so i now take ramipril at night. Was also told by pharmacist that i had to take my clopidigrel at 10 hours after my Lanzaprazole as it could stop it working. Not suffered much with headaches and not so often dizzy
