Hi @A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member. I have difficulty walking because of arthritis. I go swimming 2 -3 times a week especially in winter and that helps a lot for my exercise. If not, then do you have any type of indoor track or WMCA or gym that you could sign up with? Many people in our area also are mall walkers. They get there before the mall opens and walk all the halls of the mall.
I walk my dogs twice a day. Play golf when I can.
It will depend on your stamina, you may have lots today and tomorrow but then none the day after. I have a treadmill I use in winter, I have learned to balance exercise with rest. You will have to try different things, keep a diary so if you have a bad day you can look back to see what has caused it, it may be you did to much 2 days ago and it's just caught up with you. This is how I have learned to balance things.
