Ventricular Assist Device (VAD)
A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have Bipolar type II associated with PTSD type anxiety from the army. My neck and shoulders hurt before the pain stabs across my chest. Cardiologists, well I say they won't take it seriously but I have have had 5 ecgs, 3 cts and 2 mris and still more tests !

Why can't they pinpoint what the problem is ? In the army, under traumatic conditions I was able to get my boys to the help they needed.

Eran--My dad was young when he passed (49, heart), so I routinely got heart checkups. Was told, without exception, that everything was "fine", until of course, one day everything was "not" fine. Had an uncle (died of heart attack) that used to say he thought, "doctors practice allot". He was right! Good luck!
