I was 62, and 80% blocked (genetics, NOT lifestyle). Doctor said my heart was healthy, and I had a 4 way bypass, and he said I was a good candidate for full recovery. Why? Never smoked, not overweight, biked daily, and I was "young". Didn't realize how young I was, until I checked into the heart ward. My dad died at 49. Heart. So, I realize, I am lucky!
