Hi ReneeRichardson, I was diagnosed with an enlarged heart as a baby according to my mother and she is deceased now. I am 65 years old now. My brother is 56 now and told me about a month ago he was also diagnosed with an enlarged heart at an early age. No treatment was administered then for us. I have reduced ejection fraction. In 2/24, my Cardiologist confirmed CHF due to my symptoms that started in 2/23. I was told my condition is hereditary. But, nevertheless I have it. Praying Heart Disease is gone for Us because I know God can do anything. My aunt, probably told me a year ago about heart issues being hereditary. I take one day at a time, Pray, Exercise, eat healthy most of the time and take meds daily as prescribed by my doctors. Have a Great Day in spite of what We Endure!
Is an enlarged heart normal for people with CHF?
