Thanks Mom for the beautiful scenery that we see each week. It gives us a glimpse of all that God has made. They are beautiful fish, sea creatures and whatever else there is. It takes us to a world of peacefulness and I thank you so much for doing this every Friday or as early as Thursdays.
I love looking at the ocean waves and the creatures the oceans shields, including the rocks, reefs colorful corals, on U tube, the TV, or the movies only.
Where's Why!
On the first year of our marriage (1974) during a beautiful summer hot day we went to Virginia Beach, Va, Having much fun swimming and enjoying the water waves. My husband standing beside me when this huge wave came and knocked me down as I tried to stand back up the waves keep me down stinking me more and more into the sand. I was reaching out with my hands and kicking my feet to grab or touch something or anything to help me. The waves and sinking sand were carrying me further away from shore. Then I heard the most beautiful, peaceful, orchestra music calling for me to follow. Ah! That music so soft and beautiful sounding. I new if I did ,that I would die. I could not hold my breathe much longer. My hand touched someone foot and ankle I grab on for dear life. That person reached down and grabbed me up. I was so weak, coughing and spitting up water, trying to get more air at the same time. I felt as if I was under water for eternity, but it was only about 3-4 minutes. As I looked up to see whom my life saver was; it was my husband.
All turned out well, thank God!
That was the last time I ever went out to swim in the ocean. No thank you!
If I cannot see what's under my feet, I don't go in. Swimming pool is just fine for me.
