That's how it was for me until I got direct deposit now check comes on 3rd of each month to my account. No more checks on 3rd Wednesday of the month.

I get my the first of every month and my husband on the third of the month. We are at the beginning of the month schedule in Pennsylvania social security system.

Mine has not changed. Its still the 4th Wednesday of the month because my birthday is the 31st of the month. Has been like that for years in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
