High cholesterol and heart disease burn in my family . My father was 43 when he died from a massive heart attack.
My sister has not had an egg, cheese, red meat or processed food in 20 years and just got her 12th stent in August.
I was totally healthy heart wise till 2010. Had undetected Lyme disease for 2 years . That’s was the start of my journey with heart disease , RA, and a blood clotting disorder .
We grew up eating clean.
Now my husband of 10 years is overweight , eats junk( he buys not me) his cholesterol is perfect, all his blood work is perfect .
He had a cath done prior to a major foot surgery and his heart was great .
I am looking forward to the winter to be over and plant my garden and pick my dinner.
May we all have a better and healthy New Year.

I must admit I do sometimes eat processed foods. I think anything in moderation is ok. I live alone so do not always feel like cooking a big meal. Last night I was good I made Salmon and a baked Potato I did not go crazy with sour cream and bacon. I just used a little margarine. Have a good Saturday. ☕❤️

I have other health issues besides my heart. Problem with my digestive system so it's difficult so many of the healthy foods I love my stomach doesn't. Had a bowel obstruction in October and they do not know what caused it. Now my Hietel Hernia has returned. They had me scheduled to meet up with a nutritionist and I ended up back in the hospital. Talk about a vicious circle.

Yes I also have Barrett's and they removed a polyp which was cancerous. Have to redo the Endoscopy in 4 months. I also lost a lot of weight without trying. Feel better but lost way to loose weight. 😥💔
