Randy ,I have had my implant since 2017 and have had no problems, so I hope things get better for you ,after you get use to it you will forget you have it .

After an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) is placed, mild pain or discomfort is normal. Recovery typically involves a hospital stay of one to two days.
