I was on atoravastatin too. I weined off of it since with my Afib I didn't want to contribute the chances of heart attack or stroke risks. I have went to the diet end and eat more cholestoral killing foods, Dr now has me taking red yeast rice. It doesn't work for everyone with side effects of some with muscle cramps and headaches. But well will see in another couple weeks or so when I go back for blood work. If you can take it the results out there are incredible lowering your LDls raising HdL, all about 26 to 30% and lowering triglycerides, better circulation also.
Ask your Dr about it.
