My husband takes it and has not had any problems. It is used by many cardiologists.
This drug has been a life saver for him!
If your doc has prescribed it I wouldn't second guess.
Good luck and feel better. Confidence in the doc treating you because you need to feel safe with your treatment. Ask as many questions as you need to.
I am taking it. I thought when I first started it was making me lightheaded so my doctor suggested taking it at night. No further problems with it though.
It is a good drug and I have no side effects from it. I have Aflutter and I only take it when I am in Aflutter (over 110 bpm) and it helps in combo with another beta blocker I take to slow my heart enough to put it back into sinus rhythm (Pill in the pocket method of rate control).
I have been on this for three years now. Have not had any problems with it.
I m taking Metoprolol and for me is good medication ,no side effect .
