I"ve had lots of dental work done lately and my doctor told me to stop taking my aspirin 5 days before and my blood thinner (I'm on Xaralto) 2 days before. Then I take an antibiotic a few hours before the appointment. Ask your doctor. Also are you going to be put under for this since it is six teeth? Be careful as I've been told that I shouldn't have anesthesia.

I'm having rotator cuff surgery next week. I had to go to my cardiologist and my primary to be approved. My cardiologist approved me to be off my Prasurgel 5 days prior.

Usually, you will need to stop the Plavix for a couple of days before the procedure. Just ask the dentist on Monday. A lot of times they want you to notify your cardiologist that you are stopping the medication. I usually stop my Eliquis about 2 days before the dental work and take antibiotics the day of the procedure. Hugs
