I would be more concerned with How many within close proximity time wise.. The 1st thing even before that is Making sure your able to recover post cath for a long enough period between... I recently had ablation #2 In June following fairly close behind a Angiogram in my left leg for investigation of My existing Popliteal arterial aneurysm which was diagnosed Being monitored 13 years... so I had one cath for the angiogram and about 3 weeks post I had a double for The 2nd ablation While I was recovering (overnight) and being monitored I had a roomate who Had a single done himself for a coronary blockage he was a vet and was set up to be heading to A Local vet hospital for a 10 am appointment this day, the Doctor came in to check him out at 5 am so he would be "set to leave for the next appointment" and he got his OK from the doctor and his Nurse came in 20 minutes later with his discharge paperwork she checked his site and low and behold he had hematoma the size of a softball Just that quickly !! Now I'm thinking to myself He only had one done... I had 2 done and one Had been opened 2 1/2 weeks prior !! So I cant tell you how uncomfortable I was feeling but was able to help him realize how lucky he was imagine if he was picked up by his transport to the vet Hospital 49minutes away to get on the highway and have a femoral blow out He'd potentially Have bled out before he realized what was happening.... Off The top of my head I've "only" had 10 or 12 but the other side of the coin is If you have vascular disease this means the walls of your arteries might be weakened or compromised when you have aneursyms thats exactly part of the issue... If you in that boat I would Remind your Cardio vascular, Cardiothoracic . Electrotherapist, that your a bit concerned about the number of times you've been worked over and potential for issues with scar tissue and so on ... I suspect with 19 you should get an answer from someone (I have to say That If All my surgeries were cath set ups instead of open surgeries I'm guessing I would be very close to your 19 number but not the case ..
