I have had to come off my warfarin a few times for teeth work and other medical issues. They always have me do the injections of lovenox until I restart the warfarin and get my INR level stable. Never had any issues for the dozen times I have had to do this

So have I! Chances are your Cardiologist has had to sign off on the surgery and has approved the temporary change! Please try not to worry about this! I’ve had to do it several times and only once did I have a problem and with an adjustment in my blood thinner I was fine! I was terrified at the time too so that is perfectly understandable and Normal but don’t let yourself get overwhelmed…You need to be as calm as possible for your surgery!🥹❤️

I was off Plavix 7 days before my double bypass pass surgery with no problems. I have been off and on several times for procedures with no problems at all. Ask your doctor of your concerns. Better to talk about it and not worry. Hang in there and good luck with your procedure.

I was off for four days. No issue. Scared, a bit. But was ok.
