Yes you are allergy to the BP med they prescribed. Tell your Doctor and will prescribe you another one but check side effects again on you.
First Med they prescribed me was Amlodipine, after taking for a week, I retained so much fluid on my face and feet. . Dr said stop taking and to take lasix in order to get fluid out of my body. Then she prescribed Lisinopril . After a week, I developed frequent dry coughing and it bothered me all night and daytime as well. She stopped and prescribed another one which made me sooo dizzy. Last prescription she gave me was a water pill, CHLORTHALIDONESometimes it works, sometimes my blood pressure is very high 190/70 which I told Dr I stopped taking. I was like a Guinea Pig at Kaiser. I take Peppermint herbal tea or Blood Pressure Herbsl Tea and it works. Take care, God Bless 🙏♥️
