Immediately When I Start To Exercise, Heart Rate Jumps To 135-145. After 5 Minutes, Rate Goes Back To Normal. Should I Be Concerned?
Same here! I have an EF of 20 with a serious amount of damage to left ventricle. But I ride bike, 4-5 miles. Walk 2-3 miles and I play tennis really hard. My heart rate goes up to 135 immediately and I even hit 160. But I have been religiously doing cardio workouts daily for 3 years now. They advised me not to hit 160, so when my watch hits 150 bpm, I slow down and stop. I'm 61 years old and I'm trying really hard to keep my heart from waking any further too quickly. So diet, exercise, rest and positive outlook is my mission. If I get another 5-10 years with activity, I'm good with that.
I'd talk to doctor about it for sure
Thank you!
Thanks!
