I have always wanted to see the Holy Land. My church had planned a trip to Israel on April 2024, not thinking clearly, I signed up for it and already paid for it, not considering my heart health condition. I think my CHF is stable but having frequent Afib episodes the past 6 mos can be an issue.
Any feedback is welcome.
Jword63,
Thank you for your feedback. I have mentioned my planned trip to my cardiologist but he didn't seem to care, all he said was, there will be a lot of walking, didn't mentioned anything about my heart health condition.
Next time I see him, I will ask for his thoughts on this.
Thanks for the tips you gave me, they all sound good to me.
Hope you are doing well 😊.
Because everyone's health issues differ, I would suggest posing this question to your Cardiogist. He is more informed of your specific health issues and vulnerabilities. When traveling, I keep my medical alert and medication intake needs on my person. As an additional precautionary measure, I also carry my Nitroglycerine tablets (i.e. retained within a small medical container), in my pocket. I sincerely hope that you are able to visit the Holy Land. I have always heard that the trip is tremendous, and with most people also desiring to go back. Best wishes to you.
