I have heard of people having heart attacks after a flight because of the compression put on the heart during flight

Yes, I have flown many times with A-Fib. I was able to have an ablation 5 yrs ago and haven’t had any issues since!

Hi
I live in California and have flown to Hawaii, Oklahoma, and Pennsylvania in the last two years.
I have AFib, Diastolic Heart Failure and Mild to Moderate Emphysema. Was diagnosed March of 2019. I am not on oxygen just take my meds. No problems flying. I make sure I keep to low sodium diet especially when traveling. I take Diltiazem, Lipitor, Xarelto. Hope this helps. Everyone is not the same but the salt and traveling don't mix.🙏

That's scary, it will make anyone with heart issues avoid flying.
