I'd rather have a cardio check than a colonoscopy, lol. The day before is horrendous! ❤️

Anytime that I have had major surgery or anything like a colonoscopy I had to get cardio clearance before I could do that. I have had to do that even when I broke my left foot back in 2015.

I had to have a colonoscopy this year and before I could I had to my pacemaker cleared so I could have the procedure. And each time I have a procedure i have to so the same thing over again.

I had a colonoscopy around Christmas and I was in the hospital with rectal bleeding. I did wear a "do not resusitate" band. The doctor said they would resusitate me if anything went wrong even if I had the band. I was put out completely and everything went fine. I hated the drinking of the liquid that cleans you out tho. I was hoping they would find diamonds and pearls, but no such luck. There was no discussion of cardio problems with a colonoscopy.

Yes, clearance is always required for most types of procedures even some dental procedures.
