I say getting older is just like an old car. Things start breaking down and eventually we end up in the junkyard. Lol

I've had One ablation done after 2 or 3 years of getting Cardioversions sometimes a couple times in a 2 week period IT was nice to have a 2 year break from going in and getting zapped ... The Ablation is simple for you since the cath isnt a big deal But The process they are doing is pretty destructive in that they are either using electricity or chemical to change the interior walls of the heart to function as it normally would messing with the electrical impulses I dont think I would freak out until we begin talking about "another ablaction" ie MORE because eventually This will scar the inside of the heart and potentially kill its ability to pump blood at all, do we get a pacemaker? or transplant ?, artificial Heart? talk with your doc and get a 2nd opinion from NOT a cardiologist but and electrotheropist .... Just Had My 2nd ablation in June everything went ok, interesting that About 90% or the work he did almost 3 years ago Had "reestablished" the specific sites he'd Zapped the 1st time around.... I need to loose some weight which is very difficult since I have issues walking and one Pop Artery is in Very very bad shape I need to get it bypassed Like the right one was done some years back its never easy but we need to care for ourselves better eating the right stuff etc

I had 3 cardiac ablations to correct my A-Fib. They eventually worked. A few years after I passed out and went to Emergency and was told I needed a Pacemaker. That did a good job for 8 years and one day I went into V-Fib and passed out again. They ended up putting in a new Pacemaker with a defibrillator.
